In a match that took place in Viborg Stadium on Wednesday (22/06/2011) , the Spanish were shocked by Belarus. So one candidate won, they actually left earlier by Andrey Varankow overhead-kick in the 38th minute.
Spain failed to reply to these goals until halftime that made them fall behind in positions 0-1 at halftime. In fact, Luis Milla's squad even made it difficult to penetrate his opponent's defense.
Belarus seems to be a historic victory and into the finals as they finished up ahead of the game is still in the position leads. But in 89 minutes Spain finally created a goal back through Adrian Lopez Alvarez.

England 1-2 Czech Republic: Welbeck great-header, Pekhart last-gasp goal
England crashed out of the European Under-21 Championships at the group stage after losing 2-1 to Czech Republic in Viborg.
Danny Welbeck's strike with 15 minutes remaining looked as though it would be enough to send Stuart Pearce's side through to the semi-finals despite yet another unconvincing performance in Denmark, only for substitutes Jan Chramosta and Tomas Pekhart to strike late on to join Spain in progressing from Group B.
Welbeck scored his and England's second goal of the tournament after controlling a loose ball well on the edge of the box and playing the ball out to strike partner Daniel Sturridge. The Manchester United forward continued his run into the box and his guided Sturridge's curling cross with a header past Czech keeper Tomas Vaclik.
It seemed as though England had been let off the hook with that goal, but they allowed themselves to capitulate in the dying moments as their bid to reach the knockout phase for the third consecutive tournament evaporated.
Five minutes after coming off the bench, Chramosta finished from close range afthttp://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifer meeting Marcel Gecov's deflected cross in the 89th minute to equalise, handing qualification back to the Czechs.
Chramosta then turned provider in the fourth minute of added time as England pushed for a late goal which would have put them through, catching them on the break and squaring for former Tottenham player Tomas Pekhart to seal the win with a simple finish.
After the optimism of drawing their opening match with Spain was punctured by a drab goalless draw with Ukraine, this defeat will be hard to take for England , especially after finishing as runners-up two years ago.

Czech Republic 0-2 Spain: Lopez great-double
Adrian scored twice as Spain justified their status as Euro U21 favourites with a comfortable 2-0 win over the Czech Republic in Viborg.
Juan Mata played in Adrian for the opener on 27 minutes as he raced clear to slip the ball beyond Tomas Vaclik in the Czech goal.
It was a classy finish and his night got better on 47 minutes when he gave the Czech defence the slip again from another lovely pass by Mata to hand Spain a 2-0 lead with a sharp finish that left Vaclik well beaten with the ball hitting the net via the inside of a post.
Spain go top of Group B with four points and will claim a spot in the semi-finals if they overcome Ukraine in their final group match on Sunday.
Spain were criticised for enjoying plenty of possession in the 1-1 draw with England on Saturday while failing to add to their early goal in a match that saw an outplayed England side level two minutes from time.
There was never any danger of a repeat against the Czechs, who had enjoyed a 2-0 win over Ukraine in their opening Group B game.
Spain were in the mood from the outset and ended the match with almost 70% of possession as a side containing a smattering of La Liga's brightest prospects really impressed on a sunny afternoon in Denmark.
Czech defender Jan Lecjaks was forced to look sharp to hack an effort from Mata off his line on nine minutes.
Mata almost gave Spain a 2-0 lead a moment after their opening goal when Didac set up Mata, but his shot was somehow stopped by the busy Vaclic on 28 minutes.
Iker Muniain and Tomas Pekhart drove efforts at goal at either end before the break, but Spain continued to dominate after half-time.
Adrian's second goal killed the game as a contest, but Atletico Madrid keeper David de Gea showed his class with his one save of the match on 85 minutes as he dived to nudge Ondrej Celustka's header wide of a post in the closing minutes.http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
The Czechs will have to beat England in their final group match if England can down Ukraine later on Wednesday.
They will welcome a few days rest after being given a serious workout by a technically superior Spain side.

Denmark 2-1 Belarus: Jorgensen superb-strike
Host nation Denmark kept alive their hopes of a place in the last four of Euro U21 last four with a 2-1 win over Group A rivals Belarus in Aarhus.
A capacity crowd of around 20,000 at the Aarhus Stadion were silenced on 20 minutes when Dmitri Baga raced clear to round the Danish keeper Mikkel Andersen before slipping the ball into the unguarded net.
There was barely time for Belarus to celebrate their lead when they were undone less than two minutes later.
Mikhail Sivakov was deemed guilty of pushing Nicolai Jorgensen in the box and Christian Eriksen converted on the rebound after Alexsandr Gutor had saved his penalty.
If there was more than a touch of good fortune about the equaliser, there was nothing lucky surrounding the winner as Jorgensen evaded two visiting players before slamming a stunning effort into the corner of the net from 25 yards out.
It was little more than the Danes deserved having dominated the second period against a Belarus side who had dumped Iceland 2-0 in their opening Group A match on Saturday.
Switzerland are almost assured of a place in the last four courtesy of wins over Denmark and Iceland in their opening matches, but Belarus and Denmark are level on three points before the final round of fixtures.
Switzerland face Belarus on Saturday, while Denmark take on Iceland knowing that a win should be enough to seal their progress in the tournament.
Denmark will certainly go into the match in a positive frame of mind having showed considerable character after falling behind against Belarus.
Nickie Nielsen should have scored on 29 minutes when he poked the ball straight at Gutor after beating the offside trap, while Eriksen showed his class with a surging run four minutes after half-time as he bounded to the edge of the box before http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifuncorking a shot that was wonderfully swatted away by the impressive Gutor.
Mike Jensen did likewise on 59 minutes with a shot that Gutor got a toe to, but the Belarus keeper was finally beaten by Jorgensen's terrific winner as he could only stand and watch as the ball sailed beyond him.
Nielsen crossed for Bashkim Kadrii on 74 minutes, but the Danish substitute nodded into the side netting. It was to prove immaterial to the final outcome, even if Denmark probably deserved to win by a greater margin.

Spain 1-1 England: Welbeck great-finish
Danny Welbeck struck two minutes from time to earn England an unlikely 1-1 draw against Euro U21 favourites Spain in Herning, Sunday 12/06/2011.
Stuart Pearce's England side were outplayed, outpassed and outclassed for much of the match against Spain, who were made to pay for failing to add to Ander Herrera's headed opening goal on 14 minutes in the Danish town.
England had struggled to piece together any meaningful attacks in the second period, but equalised when Welbeck slipped the ball beyond Atletico Madrid goalkeeper David De Gea from close range on 88 minutes after a fine run and cross by Kyle Walker, who was probably England's best player on the night.
Substitute Jack Rodwell was offside when Welbeck scored, but the assistant linesman failed to raise his flag as the referee whistled to confirm the goal as England's players raced away to celebrate their good fortune.
England face Ukraine in their next match of the tournament on Wednesday. Ukraine must avoid defeat to stay in the tournament after they suffered a 2-1 loss to the Czech Republic earlier in the day.
Spain scored from their first attack of the night when Herrera nodded into the net from Javi Martinez's free header after a lovely corner from Thiago. There was a suspicion of handball about the goal, but no England players protested and Spain had the lead.
Chris Smalling made a fine tackle to deny Adrian Lopez a free run at goal on 33 minutes before England enjoyed their best spell of the match prior to the break.
Danny Rose threw over a fine cross on 38 minutes that Daniel Sturridge just failed to connect with before Walker delivered a wonderful cross a minute into time added on in the first period.
Sturridge's flick looked netbound, but De Gea showed why he is wanted by Manchester United as he threw himself across goal to swat the ball wide of a post.
England goalkeeper Frank Fielding leapt into action on 57 minutes when the impressive Chris Smalling blocked a Herrera shot from the edge of the box.http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
The ball spun up off the deck and flew goalwards, but Fielding did well to get himself across his goal to make the save.
It was too prove a vital touch as Welbeck's late equaliser gave England a point that never looked on the cards for most of the night before a crowd of over 8,000.
Smalling and Phil Jones did well to nullify the threat of Juan Mata and Jeffren, but Spain really should have looked to kill the game off in the second period when they were on top.
They will need to find a greater cutting edge when they face Group B leaders Czech Republic on Wednesday.

Denmark 0-1 Switzerland: Shaqiri solo-run
A wonderful solo run and finish from playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri earned Switzerland a 1-0 victory over host nation Denmark on the opening evening of the European Under-21 Championship, Saturday 11/06/2011.
The contest in Aalborg - billed as a battle between the two 19-year-olds, Shaqiri and Denmark's Christian Eriksen - was settled by the former after 48 minutes as he embarked on a Lionel Messi-esque dribble before firing the ball back across Mikkel Andersen and in.
FC Basel's Shaqiri, who last week started the senior Euro 2012 qualifier against England, was influential throughout but Denmark should have secured a point in front of a sell-out home crowd and were denied by a series of fine saves by Yann Sommer as well as an offside flag in the final seconds. They sit joint bottom of Group A with Iceland, who lost 2-0 to Belarus earlier on Saturday.
Switzerland, looking to embellish their growing reputation in youth football after a victory in the 2009 Under-17 World Cup, began sharply as senior international Shaqiri, lofted a beautiful ball over the defence for Innocent Emeghara, who was unable to beat Andersen.
Shaqiri, as predicted, was a central figure and happily shot from range on numerous occasions as Denmark afforded him too much space in the pocket behind the striker. However, the playmaker's radar appeared to be off as he sent a succession of shots wide of the post in a busy first-half performance.
Denmark, though, had their own playmaker with a burgeoning reputation and Ajax ace Eriksen, making his debut at Under-21 level after being fast tracked into the senior side for last summer's World Cup, was a sporadic menace, whether testing Sommer himself or creating chances for his team-mates.
On 34 minutes he gave Swiss defender Fabian Lustenberger the eyes and spin away from him before delivering a cross that eventually fell to Bashkim Kadrii, but the forward saw his deflected effort saved by Sommer.
Just seconds before half-time, and following another couple of long-range shots for Shaqiri, Denmark opened up the defence once again as Daniel Wass delivered a superb pass with the outside of his right boot for Villarreal's Nicki Bille Nielsen, who struck his volley off target.
Just three minutes into the second half, Shaqiri demonstrated why there is so much hype around the FC Basel star. Collecting the ball in the centre of the pitch, he ghosted away from three markers when making his way into the box and guided the ball back across goal and into the far corner.
Denmark responded as they created a slew of chances. However, they found Switzerland goalkeeper Sommer to be in unbeatable form.
http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gif
Andreas Bjelland and Nielsen were denied in quick succession but Sommer's finest moment came when flinging out his arms to stop Wass from equalising with a firm effort following a cut-back. Substitute Henrik Dalsgaard was the next to fall under Sommer's spell as he was denied at close range, while Mike Jensen was unable to convert with his header when the ball was worked back into the box.
In the dying minutes, a free-kick from Eriksen appeared to be heading for the top corner, only to be saved almost contemptuously by Sommer. Though he was finally beaten in the fourth minute of added time by Nielsen, a marginal offside flag saved the Swiss, who go joint top of the group with Belarus.
