The first piece of European silverware is up for grabs at the Stade Louis II this evening as European champions Barcelona take on the final UEFA Cup winners Shakhtar Donetsk.

Full strength teams on either side, which is promising. Barcelona have a tasty Champions League group meeting with Inter coming up; that will see both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Samuel Eto'o face their former clubs.

Barcelona are looking to become the fourth Spanish side to win this trophy in the past decade. Real Madrid won it in 2002, Valencia in 2004 and UEFA Cup winners Sevilla beat Barca to the trophy in 2006.
