  • PSV 4-3 Ajax: Goal Fest

The hosts fought back after falling behind twice to pick up the full three points in an entertaining match.

A highly entertaining clash between PSV and Ajax ended in a narrow victory for the Eindhoven side.

The away side made a brilliant start to the match as Luis Suarez opened the score after only two minutes following some sloppy goalkeeping from Andreas Isaksson.

PSV weren’t impressed though as Hungarian midfielder Balazs Dzsudzsak levelled the score with a stunning long range strike ten minutes before the interval.

Once again Suarez restored the lead for Ajax minutes before the break after being set up by Dutch international Demy de Zeeuw.

It was all PSV in the beginning of the second half and Dzsudzsak and Ottman Bakkal helped the Eindhoven side to the lead with two goals within ten minutes from the beginning of the second half.

However, Urby Emanuelson drew things level at the hour mark with a curled effort that beat Isaksson at the far post.

Bakkal scored his second of the game fifteen minutes before the final whistle with a powerful effort from inside the area.
