Chelsea 2-0 Liverpool: To the top

Nicolas Anelka and Florent Malouda were on target as Chelsea beat Liverpool 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to go back to the top of the Premier League.

Didier Drogba made both goals with Anelka breaking the deadlock on the hour mark and Malouda sealing all three points in time added on to end Manchester United's brief spell at the top of the table.
