  • Bolton Wanderers 2-2 Hull City: Hunt double

Stephen Hunt struck twice as Hull came from behind to secure a dramatic draw against Bolton in their Premier League relegation six-pointer.

The second-from-bottom Tigers looked to be dead and buried at the Reebok with an hour played after goals from Ivan Klasnic and Kevin Davies, but they staged an incredible second-half comeback and Hunt netted twice in seven minutes to level the scores.

The draw ensured Bolton remain in the bottom three of the Premier League and despite having games in hand on the teams above them, the Trotters fans vented their frustration at manager Gary Megson with a chorus of boos at the final whistle.

There was little to enthuse about the first half with a theme of long balls dominating proceedings.

With both teams adopting a predictably direct style of play, opposing centre-backs and strikers went to war in an aerial battle.

Physical, unforgiving and unrelenting, it was going to take a moment of quality to break the deadlock and it came from Klasnic in the 20th minute.
