  • Inter 2-0 Rubin Kazan: Balotelli thunderbolt goal

    Inter Milan qualified for the tickets to ensure the knock-out phase thanks to the 2-0 victory over Rubin Kazan. Despite the defeat, Rubin was still able to place in Europa League.

    At the Giuseppe Meazza, Wednesday (09/12/2009) , Inter led by Samuel Eto'o scored in minute 31. Score again changed after Mario Balotelli made thunderbolt goal from 44 meters for Inter in the 64th minute.

    The victory made the Inter qualify for the knock-out phase predicated runner-up Group F with nine, two points adrift of Barcelona who won this group.

    Meanwhile, Rubin ended the group phase of the three positions with a number six, ahead of Dynamo Kiev a 1-2 defeat by Barcelona. This makes Rubin still competing in the European arena even in Europe League competition.
