  • Stoke City 3-2 Fulham: Dempsey superb strike

    Stoke City managed to reap the full points in the follow-up in the middle of the English League this weekend. Entertain Fulham, The Potters managed to win with a score of 3-2.

    With this result Stoke managed to enter top 10 with 24 points from 20 times a game. While Fulham move ninth with a collection of 27 points.

    In a fight that was held at the Britannia Stadium on Tuesday (5/1/2010) , Stoke who played in front of his own supporters appear nicely in the first round in which they netted three goals successfully.

    They opened the advantage in minute 12 through Tuncay header from close range. Managed to double the hosts advantage through the action of Abdoulaye Faye in the 34th minute free-kick managed to take advantage of Matthew Etherington.

    Three minutes later, the British Stadium roared back. Mamady Sidibe gore ball firmly into position to convert 3-0.

    However, host game loosened in the second half. They missed a goal from Damien Duff on 61 minutes. The former Chelsea and Newcastle player was kicked off from the front left side of the penalty box which failed to reach Steve Simonsen.

    At 85 minutes, Clint Dempsey's turn to act. From the same direction with the goal Duff, but a few steps further, superb strike from the players from the United States is lodged in the host's goal.
