  • Porto 2-1 Arsenal: Campbell scores , Fabianski blunder

    FC Porto 2-1 victory finally won over Arsenal. But the result was not safe for Porto as the Gunners can still be returned when the second leg of last 16 of the Champions League at the Emirates Stadium later.

    In the match in Estadio do Dragão, Wednesday (17/2/2010), Porto's first lead in the 11th minute. Goals are originated from the crossing failed Silvestre Varela is well captured by goalkeeper Lukasz Fabinski so the ball into his own net.

    However, Arsenal took only seven minutes for a 1-1 equalizer. Equaliser goals was printed by Sol Campbell through his powerfull header in minute 19. 1-1 score lasted untull halftime.

    The victory is of course a positive result for Porto because they only need a draw to qualify the results of the quarter-finals. However, Arsenal still have a chance back during the second leg at the Emirates on March 9 later.
