  • Manchester United 4-0 AC Milan: Rooney double, Park Ji Sung terrific finish

    Manchester United managed to secure tickets round of the Champions League quarterfinals. 3-0 victory over AC Milan make the Red Devils drove to the 7-2 aggregate lead.

    In a match that was held at Old Trafford Stadium, Wednesday (10/3/2/2010) , MU is appearing more dominant. 3-2 advantage from the first leg to make them appear calm.

    Wayne Rooney appeared as the MU protagonist with two goal each in 12 and 46 minutes. Two other goals printed Park Ji-Sung in the 59th minute and Darren Fletcher in the 88th minute.

    This makes 4-0 victory MU rate of 8 round unstoppable. 3-2 victory in the Milan headquarters to fight the two goal difference to be 7-2 for excellence 'Red Devil'.

    Milan show is not bad in the beginning of the game. However, the first MU had a chance when Gary Neville tried to speculate with his left foot kick, but the direction is still on the slide.



    Minute 12, MU truly superior. Neville's cross from Wayne Rooney to the guarded Daniele Bonera. With header, Rooney tore Milan goalkeeper. 1-0 for MU.

    Milan almost returned in 16 minutes. A hard kick Andrea Pirlo could not properly secured by goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar. But before you grab a Milan player, Van Der Sar to secure the ball deftly in his arms.

    Score was 1-0 last until halftime.

    A few seconds running the second half, MU practical 'kill' Milan. From the horizontal cross from the left-wing Nani, Rooney moving faster than Christian Abbiati and cheating the ball into the goal.

    MU increasingly on the wind when Park Ji-Sung scored with terrific finish for the third goal at minute 59. Paul Scholes breakthrough bait resolved Park with a kick aimed at the far post Abbiati.

    With MU winning 3-0, Milan chance of escape was very heavy.

    64 minutes, coach Milan Leonardo put David Beckham on the field replacing Ignazio Abate. Becks welcomed the presence of standing Ovation from the whole Old Trafford.

    Milan tried to minimize the position. 69 minutes, kicking Mathieu Flamini could still rejected the foot of Van Der Sar. Try throwing the ball headlong Filippo Inzaghi but did not meet the target.

    Beckham's presence lifted slightly Milan game. 74 minutes, players volley that almost 34 years to fruition a goal if only Van der Sar did not swiftly brushed it off out of the park.

    Milan attack again stuck in the hands of Van Der Sar on 77 minutes. Left leg kick Klaas Jan Huntelaar was too weak and easily broken by a fellow countryman's.

    88 minutes, the advantage grew to be 4-0 MU. From the cross Park, Darren Fletcher at the far post ball gore Abbiati uncontrollably. MU was leading 7-2 in the aggregate.

    In the final minutes of action, Milan actually have a chance to at least score one goal. Beckham cross but failed to use free-standing Inzaghi at the mouth of the goal.
