  • Villareal 1-4 Barcelona: Messi double, Xavi great free-kick

    Barcelona sit firmly at the top of the standings, after defeat Villarreal 3-1, in advanced Primera Division, at El Madrigal on Saturday (05/01/2010). They are now collecting 90 points or four points ahead of Real Madrid in second place.

    Although looks superior, Barcelona is not easy to reap results. Opponent's playing at home, they are able to dominate the game with a mastery of the ball. However, they do strikes almost like hitting the empty air until Messi breaking goalkeeper Diego Lopez in the 19th minute.
