    Juventus new coach Luigi Del Neri can smile with this positive result. It was a friendly preparatory match against Olympique Lyon towards the UEFA Europa League Third Qualifying Round against Shamrock Rovers on July 29, 2010. Positive results from the 2 forward couples. In the first half Alessandro Del Piero and Amauri while in the second half Del Neri tries David Trezeguet and Diego.

    Opening the score in the 21st minute is Olympique Lyon with a penalty converted by Ederson after a foul from Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini on Belfodil.

    Equalizing the score is Juventus captain Alessandro Del Piero also converting a penalty conceded by Lovren for a foul on Amauri. Olympique Lyon remain with 10 players when Referee Russo sent off Cissokho for a foul on Jorge Martinez.



    Delivering the winning goal is new Juventus player Simone Pepe with a left footed shot after the assist by Diego. It's the first goal from Pepe as Juventus player and on his debut. Good response also from goalkeeper Marco Storari showing determination and not intimidated. Just towards the end Storari making a save denying Kallastrom the joy to equalize the match.
