    Blackpool the new campaign helped achieve exceptional results. Playing at home to Wigan in the DW Stadium, the Seasiders with a host of public silence to win four goals without reply.

    Gary Taylor Fletcher opened the scoring for the visitors on 16 minutes, followed by Marlon Harewood on 38 and 43 minutes. While one goal made the ultimate Blackpool Alex Baptiste on 15 minutes before the fight broke up.

    With this victory Blackpool are entitled to three points once held the top acquisition standings with three points.
