  • Bolton 2-2 Manchester United: Nani great-strike, Owen magic-header

    Manchester United failed to win his fourth victory this season. Squads 'Red Devils' only managed to reach a point after a 2-2 draw with Bolton Wanderers.

    Playing a game at the Reebok Stadium on Sunday (09/26/2010), MU missed it first. The home team appeared surprising after scoring in the sixth minute through Zat Knight.

    MU replies goals came in the mid rounds through Nani leg and forcing the first half closed with the score 1-1. The Trotters had led the fight through Martin Petrov but the Manchester United back to equalize through Michael Owen.

    With the results of this series, Manchester United climbed to second place standings with a value of 12. While Bolton climbed to rank 11 with the value of seven.




    The game

    Exhibited an open game both sides since the kick off. But the home team managed to steal the first goal in the sixth minute through Knight.

    Starting from a corner kick, Knight successfully passed guard Jonny Evans and managed to kick off the nest in the bottom corner that goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar kept.

    Giggs! Nani bait in the penalty box was met by Ryan Giggs who kick off but still wide on the right side Juusi Jaaskelainen.

    Gol! Manchester United finally managed to equalize. Starting from the operand Wayne Rooney, Nani ran dribble and drop-kick from outside the penalty box through the net on 23 minutes Bolton. Score is now 1-1.

    An opportunity other than Rooney. England striker controlled the ball and release a kick but still soar above the Bolton crossbar.

    By halftime, MU gets another chance from Nemanja Vidic. Starting from a corner kick, this Serbian defender the ball at the far post but the ball was wide.

    But it was Bolton who managed to make an additional goal. Utilize empty space in the box MU, Petrov kick from the right side of the box which was about Darren Fletcher before getting into Chelsea's goal. Bolton led 2-1.

    The decision to enter Michael Owen proved right. Replacing Fletcher, Owen successfully make equalizing goal in the 74th minute free-kick which was started by Nani.

    Chelsea's goal came close to conceding. Elmander made it past Vidic and kick off flat at the far post and only a thin spread.
