OL Lyon 2-0 Benefica: Briand, Lisandro scored
Olympique Lyon still powerful after defeating Benfica 2-0. The victory was made Lyon Unbeaten and still firmly on top of Group B.
In the match held at Stade de Gerland on Wednesday (0/10/2010), Lyon managed to satisfy his supporters. Jimmy Briand and Lisandro Lopez scored one goal each for the victory of Lyon.
That means that Lyon have completed three matches with a victory. These results make Lyon still lead in Group B standings with collecting nine points.
The game
The first threat came from Yoann Gourcuff Lyon from the left side when the game runs seven minutes. But it was not a problem for Benfica goalkeeper Roberto.
Three minutes later Lyon again threatened by Javier Saviola, but he was declared offside. Attacks still continue to try to built by Lyon and finally produced results in minute 21.
