  • Aston Villa 1-2 Tottenham: Van der Vaart great-double, Defoe red-card

    Tottenham Hotspur for a while tracing the euro zone. That was achieved after adding three points thanks to a 2-1 victory over Aston Villa, while Spurs finished the game minus one player.

    A visit to Villa Park on Sunday (12/26/2010) , Spurs go home with full points thanks to a pair of goals from Rafael van der Vaart. The host himself was only able to reply only once by Marc Albrighton.

    Van der Vaart took the Spurs ahead on 23 minutes after kicking his left leg after receiving the cross from Alan Hutton successful nesting in the Villa goal.
