  • Fulham 1-3 Westham: Hughes great-header, Cole double

    Fulham defeat at home when entertain Westham United at Craven Cottage on Sunday December 26, 2010. Despite playing at home, Fulham failed to get opportunity to reach full points, leading first through Hughes great-header at 10', marked from eight yards with a power header into the top right! Great cross, super finish but where was the marking?
    Westham strikes back through Cole double strike each half, and Piquionne simple touch.
    Cole level at 37, Mistake from Etuhu as he sticks out a leg in a poor attempt to intercept Sears's low cross, only succeeding in divert.
    Piquionne bring Westham lead at 45', What a finish from Piquionne! Parker on the left swings in a superb cross, Salcido all over the place and the Frenchman flies in at the far post with a first-time volley into the roof of the net! Shocking defending from Salcido, but a great finish!
    Then Cole got his double at 73', Route one, Hughes with a rotten defensive header straight into Cole's path and he rifles a superb first-time finish across Schwarzer into the bottom right. West Ham have breathing space.
