  • Sunderland 1-0 Westham United: Henderson great-finish

    Sunderland won three valuable points as host Westham United, at the Stadium of Light, on Sunday 05/12/2010. Certainly, the Hammers appeared better organised defensively than in their meek surrender to Liverpool last month.

    Sunderland saw plenty of possession but struggled to penetrate the mass ranks of defenders at the edge of the box.

    The only Sunderland's winning goal scored by England midfielder Jordan Henderson with a volley of kicks in the penalty box utilizing Gyan perfect feed from the right side of the field.
