Sunderland 1-0 Bolton: Welbeck diving-header, Gordon miracle-save
Sunderland win precious win over Bolton Wanderers, as host at Stadium of Light on Saturday 18/12/2010. The winning goal scored by Welbeck diving header on first half.
Bolton should found leveler at the end of first half, but Gordon miraculously save Knight close range strike put Sunderland won their three points and pass Bolton at Premiere League table, they're now at sixth have same points with Tottenham Hotspur.

#9' It's Asamoah Gyan who will strike... a poor low drive that hits the wall. Bolton break and Taylor is at the byline. He pulls the ball back for Kevin Davies whose shot is blocked and the rebound is hacked clear!
# 12' Fantastic play by Sunderland through the middle as Richardson surges forward. He pullsd the ball back for Welbeck... great last-ditch challenge from Gary Cahill! Corner to the home side.
# 13' Bolton clear the corner but Cattermole sends in the second ball. Nedum Onuoha holds it up and it comes for Darren Bent... fired over the bar from 12 yards!
# 31' Lovely from Gyan! He flicks a header on for himself to latch on to and drills a low shot that Jussi Jaaskelainen fumbles to block! first test for the Bolton keeper.
# 32' GOAL!! Henderson's floated ball to the far post is brought down well by Bent. The striker's shot on the turn is parried by Jasskelainen but it bounces in front of Welbeck who heads home from close range!
# 45' What a save by Gordon! The corner is headed back across goal and Zat Knight prods it towards goal and the Scottish keeper claws it away and over the bar from almost point blank range! Stunning stop from the Sunderland keeper!
# 70' So nearly two for Sunderland! Bent miscontrols insid ethe area but the ball runs for Gyan. The striker pulls the ball back for Welbeck who sidefoots an effort off the outside of the far post!
# 89' Another good move forward from Sunderland. Bent feeds Henderson out wide, and the cross is perfect for Zenden to head... wide of the far post! That could have been curtains for Bolton!
# 90+4' Klasnic misses from six yards. Bolton get their cross in and the Croatian mistimes his shot and sends it wide of the target! That was THE chance for Bolton!
