  • Bolton 0-4 Chelsea: Drogba superb-goal, Anelka, Malouda, Ramirez scored

    Chelsea grabs convincing victory on their away game against Bolton Wonderers, on Monday 24/01/2011 at Reebok Stadium, They won 0-4 without replay. Didier Drogba spectacular shot from long range gave the champions the lead, and Frank Malouda doubling the lead just before half-time to see the Blues register their first away win since October. Nicholas Anelka and Ramirez put them 0-4 comfortable win untill the end of second half.

    Chelsea's victory has not changed its ranking in the top four standings. The Blues now have 41 points from 23 matches, behind 7 points from the top standings Manchester United and Manchester City 4 digits of that one position better.



    The game

    Chelsea have got the pressure wave from Bolton since the early minutes. However, Martin Petrov was caught offside and then Kevin Davies header leads right into Petr Cech.

    After the high tempo that immediately played Bolton, Chelsea began to attempt to control the game with a slightly lower tempo when the ball under control.
