Chelsea 2-0 Blackburn Rovers: Ivanovic, Anelka scored
In the match at Stamford Bridge on Saturday (15/01/2011), Chelsea again rely on a duo Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka up front. While Blackburn play thier new players, Roque Santa Cruz, from the early minutes.
The home team had chances in the second minute. Starting from a corner kick, Ramires managed to steal the ball from Blackburn defender and fired a right foot hit the goalposts just Paul Robinson.

Branislav Ivanovic finally successfully broke the deadlock in the 57th minute. Starting from a corner kick, John Terry headed the ball which fell to the feet Ivanovic. The Serbian defender was then opened fire from close range that beat Robinson. Chelsea 1, Blackburn 0.
Terry had a chance to double Chelsea's advantage. But his header just use kick Lampard crossed in front of goalkeeper Blackburn.
The next opportunity comes through the legs Drogba. Starting from Christopher Samba do backpass error, managed to steal the ball and make Drogba stay facing with Robinson. Unfortunately, his shot was too easy to read that former England goalkeeper.
Chelsea finally pan dol second in the 76th minute. Re-started from the corner kick, the ball deflected by a headlong Ivanovic and Anelka's goal thrilling Robinson.
Malouda effort from distance still hard save by Robinson, and again Drogba effort still soaring above the net.
