  • Ipswich Town 1-0 Arsenal: Priskin great-finish

    Arsenal appear under performance and suffered 0-1 defeat of the Championship division team Ipswisch Town in English League Cup semi-final first.

    Located at Portman Road on Wednesday (2/01/2011) , the home team managed to make Arsenal can not develop his game.

    The Gunners did not look impressive even more control of the game. Instead performance is better opponent and managed to make a goal kick in the 78th minute through Tamas Priskin.

    The first round went pretty monotonous. There are a few chances but no goals are created from both camps. Arsenal game more alive in the second round.

    Goal! Ipswich 1-0 lead in the 78th minute thanks to Priskin. Having escaped the offside, Priskin with a cold kick off towards the far post and break the wicket
    Wojciech Szczesny guarded.

    Disadvantaged, Arsenal raise the tempo. Kick on 85 minutes Walcott Fabregas bait results bear fruit only corner kick.

    Umpire has sounded the long whistle, final score 1-0 for the victory Ipwisch. Arsenal still have a chance to turn things around in the second semi-final held at the Emirates Stadium.
