  • Liverpool 2-0 Stoke: Meireles great-strike, Suarez first-scored

    £22.8 million signing Luis Suarez starts on the bench, and first scored for his new club at second-half as Liverpool host Stoke City at Anfield in the Premier League, Wednesday 02/02/2011.
    Suarez entered replaces Fabio Aurelio in the 63rd minute and break into the Stoke goal at minute 79. Having successfully mastered breakthrough bait Dirk Kuyt, he dribbled into the penalty box and outwit Begovic before rolling the ball into the middle of the goal.

    Just before the ball crossed the goal line, a player Stoke managed to reach the ball and tried to throw it away. However, the ball actually shot into the top right corner of the net.
