  • Aston Villa 0-2 Chelsea: McEachran, Torres scored

    Josh McEachran scored after just 35 seconds to send Chelsea on their way to a 2-0 victory against Aston Villa to win the Premier League Asia Cup in Hong Kong, on Saturday 30/07/2011.

    Chelsea strolled into the final after brushing aside Hong Kong champions Kitchee 4-0 in their opening game, while Darren Bent’s second half goal against Blackburn Rovers earned Villa their spot.

    The 18-year-old McEachran poked home after a superb double save from Shay Given before second half substitute Fernando Torres scored with his first touch as Chelsea cruised to victory.
