  • Manchester City 3-0 Wigan: Aguero superb hat-trick

    Manchester City's 3-0 win over Wigan Athletic and Manchester United was entitled to shift from the top of the Premier League standings on Saturday (10/09/2011). All the goals City was created by Sergio "Kun" Aguero.

    In this game, City manager Roberto Mancini, made a surprising decision. Men from the Italian play Argentinian duo of striker, Sergio Aguero and Carlos Tevez. While Edin Dzeko rested on the bench along with Samir Nasri.




    The Game


    First City opportunity's acquired by Adam Johnson in the 5th minute. A cross from Gael Clichy he managed to control. Unfortunately, though it was free standing, Adam was too hasty in releasing the ball so that the kick was off the mark.

    In the 10th minute, David Silva's turn to make the Wigan goalkeeper Threatened. His left foot shot from outside the box leads right into the bottom left corner of the Wigan goal but the ball can still be saved well by goalkeeper Ali Al Habsi.

    Constantly battered, Wigan goalkeeper also broken in the 13th minute. Cooperation between Carlos Tevez and Silva ended a sweet feed to Sergio Aguero. Without mercy, Argentine striker is releasing the ball with his right foot shot that could not be driven by Al Habsi.

    Aguero scored his hat trick in the 69th minute. Almost the same with the second goal, Aguero Wigan goalkeeper to put the ball into the bottom left corner. This time, take advantage of breakthroughs from Silva Aguero.
