  • Catania 2-1 Inter: Cambiasso, Almiron great-finish, Lodi penalty

    Inter Milan were forced to swallow the bitter pill after receiving their fourth defeat this season. Come to the Catania headquarters, the Nerazzurri defeated 1-2.

    Playing a game at the Stadio Angelo Massimino, Saturday (15/10/2011) , Inter started the game well. Esteban Cambiasso scored a quick goal in the sixth minute.

    But the lead lasted only until halftime. In the second half, Sergio Almiron managed to equalize on 47 minutes.

    In their attempt to return the lead, Inter conceded again. Catania managed to turn things around to 2-1 in 51 minutes through a penalty kick.

    This makes Inter's defeat did not budge at position 17 of the standings with four of six times the value of play. While Catania climbed to sixth with nine points.

    Andrea Catellani barely have a chance to make an instant impact to Catania after Lucio slipped when getting the ball back. He is replacing Gomez, kicking off horizontal force Castellazi saves with difficulty.

    In the remaining time available, Inter failed to make any additional goals, so a score of 2-1 did not change for the victory of Catania.
