Turkey 1-3 Germany: Gomez, Muller great-strike
In Group A match that was held at Turk Telekom Arena, Istanbul, on Friday (10/07/2011), Germany beat Turkey with a score of 3-1. This victory maintain excellence throughout Germany who won the qualifying round results of 100% victory, which they are now collecting 27 points from nine games that have been passed.
While the Turks made their break-out defeat this threat because it is now down to number three standings with 14 points. Runner-up position they were taken Belgium (15 points) who won a landslide victory in the other game 3-0 at home to Khazakstan. Both Turkey and Khazakstan still have one game remaining.
Germany Mario Gomez opened the scoring when the game entered the 35th minute. Score later changed to 2-0 after goalkeeper Thomas Muller host for the second time in 66 minutes.
Hakan Balta had time to minimize the position with his goal in minute 79. But Bastian Schweinsteiger penalty just a minute before the match finished memasikan Joachim Loew's squad came home with a 3-1 victory.
