  • Westbrom 2-0 Wolves: Brunt, Odemwingie great-finish

West Bromwich Albion won the Black Country derby with a 2-0 Premier League victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers at The Hawthorns, Sunday 16/10/2011.

Chris Brunt opened the scoring with a thumping finish on eight minutes, before substitute Peter Odemwingie put the result beyond doubt 15 minutes from time.

The win moves West Brom out of the bottom three, while Wolves continue their freefall down the table - they have lost their last five games and looked toothless in attack against slick, well-organised opposition.

    Team Line-up:

WEST BROM: Foster; Reid, McAuley, Olsson, Jones; Brunt, Mulumbu, Scharner, Thomas; Tchoyi, Long.
Subs: Fulop, Morrison, Dorrans, Odemwingie, Dawson, Shorey, Cox.

WOLVES: Hennessey; Stearman, Johnson, Berra, Ward; Hammill, Henry, Milijas, O’Hara, Jarvis, Doyle... Subs: Craddock, Ebanks-Blake, Hunt, Vokes, Zubar, Guedioura, De Vries.
