  • Wigan 1-3 Bolton: Diame superb-strike, N'Gog, Eagles scored

    Bolton Wanderers leapfrogged Wigan Athletic in the Premier League table after a thrilling win at the DW Stadium, Saturday 15/10/2011.

    Nigel Reo-Coker and David Ngog both opened their accounts for Bolton in a frenetic clash between two sides entering the encounter in the bottom three.

    Mohamed Diame had levelled for Wigan five minutes before the break, but a mistake from Steven Gohouri helped gift a goal to Ngog.

    After Kevin Davies had missed a second-half penalty for Bolton, the outstanding Eagles made the game safe in injury time.
