Blackburn 0-1 Chelsea: Lampard diving-header, Torres awful-miss
Chelsea bring home the full point in the trip to Blackburn Rovers headquarters. The Blues won 1-0 thanks to goals from mere puppet created by Frank Lampard.
Match at Ewood Park on Saturday (05.11.2011), running less attractive in the first half. Both teams are equally difficult to create chances.
In the second half, Blackburn and Chelsea play more open. However, only one goal that is created, namely to Chelsea Lamrad header.
An additional three points did not make the move from Chelsea fourth Premier League standings. They collected 22 points from 11 games. As Blackburn dropped in ranking to 18th with six points.
The game
Experiments in the second minute Lampard has not produced results. Long-distance shots right leads into the arms of Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson.
Blackburn almost winning in the ninth minute. Mauro Formica welcomes cross from the left side, flick Yakubu remains thin side goalkeeper Petr Cech.
In the rest of the half, not many opportunities to create meaningful. Score still remained 0-0 until halftime.
Six minutes after the restart, the visitors broke the deadlock. Starting acceleration Branislav Ivanovic on the right side, the ball is fed to Lampard who was standing at the mouth of the goal. As he threw himself, Lampard goalkeeper Robinson with his head.
In the 56th minute, Cech managed to rescue a double. After blocking shots Morten Gamst Pedersen free, he also dispels Hanley Grant flick.
Two minutes later, Robinson's turn to save his goal. He dismissed Lampard's long-distance shots.
Daniel Sturridge had a penalty claim in the 73rd minute because she felt encouraged when they want Ashley Cole welcomes feedback. However, referee Mike Dean did not grant it.
In injury time, Fernando Torres wasting valuable opportunities. In the free position, his effort continued feedback from close range Cole still soaring.
