  • Inter 2-1 Lille: Samuel header, Milito, De Melo cool-finish

    Inter Milan took full points when entertaining at home to Lille. He Beneamata thin end the game with the score 2-1 and solidify a position at the top of Group B.

    In a match that took place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, Wednesday (02/11/2011), Inter and Lille directly display the game open early. Lille has a number of opportunities early in the first half of this.

    Lille gained two chances in the ninth minute through Ireneusz Jelen and Benoit Pedretti. However, Jelen kick could still be blocked, while Pedretti kick wide on the side of the goal guarded by Luca Castelazzi.

    Milito finally bring Inter ahead in the 65th minute when he completed a cross Javier Zanetti. Kick right leg could not dammed by Landreau and also hosts a 2-0 lead.

    Lille finally reduce the gap position on 83 minutes through a cool finish from Tulio De Melo inside the penalty box. However, in the end they still failed to equalize.

    Thanks to this victory, Inter increase their chances of qualifying for the last 16. The direction of Claudio Ranieri's squad is now firmly at the top of Group B with a value of 9. While Lille remained in fourth with a value of 2.
