Being host to the bottom team Blackburn Rovers, on the day of the 70th anniversary of Sir Alex Ferguson, Manchester United close in 2011 with a 2-3 defeat at Old Trafford.

In the game on Saturday (31/12/2011) , MU appear very dominant since the early minutes. They forced Blackburn to survive and play half court.
