  • Manchester City 0-2 Everton: Cahill, Arteta scores

    Manchester City surrendered 0-2 to Everton, in a duel Premier League, Wednesday (24/3/2010). They were stuck in fifth position with 53 points, or lose two points from Tottenham Hotspur in the fourth rank.

    The results were very disappointing for the City. How, not, playing in front of his own supporters, City appear dominant in the mastery of the ball and attack.

    Indeed they had difficulties in the early action. However, since the minute 17 to minute 30, they held a consistent threat to the Everton goal, through Micah Richards, Gareth Barry, Craig Bellamy, and Carlos Tevez. Unfortunately, none managed to break through Tim Howard's goal.

    In contrast, Everton are a month-month barrage of attacks that actually managed to steal that led to the attack goal from the foot of Tim Cahill, Exploiting cross Leighton Baines, Cahill nets thrilling Shay Given.



    Goal Everton's moral toss. Slowly, their performance improved. Although still difficult to give a new threat, they were able to maintain the advantage until the end of the first half.

    Entering the second half, Everton continued their good performance. Apart City could reduce the threat, they also managed to work several times a serious threat to the goalkeeper Given.

    In the minute-to-53 and 54, for example, Mikel Arteta and Cahill fired right turn into the goal. Unfortunately, the effort has failed.

    In the midst of pressure, Everton made a surprise return with a quick attack which again resulted goals, which this time created by Mikel Arteta in the 85th minute. Utilizing feedback Jck Rodwell, Arteta sent the ball into the bottom left corner of the goal City.

    City tried to use the remaining time to find a goal back. Unfortunately, though no longer conceded, their hard work had failed to produce a goal, until the long whistle.
