  • Chelsea 2-1 Manchester United: Rooney, Luiz superb-strike, Vidic red-card

    Chelsea became the second team managed to beat Manchester United this season. Frank Lampard's penalty brought the Blues winning 2-1 over the Red Devils, who finished the game with 10 players.

    Come to the headquarters of Chelsea, Stamford Bridge Stadium on Tuesday (03/01/2011) , MU was capable to lead first by Wayne Rooney superb-strike. However, Chelsea turned excel thanks to a goal David Luiz and Frank Lampard penalty.

    MU finished the game with 10 players after Nemanja Vidic got a second yellow card in injury time due to violation of Ramires. In the first half, Vidic yellow-carded for breaking Michael Essien.

    This is the second defeat of Manchester United in the Premier League this season after they lost to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Manchester United remain on top of the Premiership standings with a value of 60 of 28 matches. But MU prone position was approached Arsenal who collected 56 points from 27 matches.



    The game

    Zhirkov again threatened Chelsea's goal in minute 81. This time, Russian players can kick deflected by Vidic's legs, hit the pole and exit. If not, we can be sure will be a goal.

    At MU eager to keep pace, they would have to lose Vidic is sent off. Serbian defender was pulled down Ramires just outside the penalty box MU.
