  • Juventus 1-1 Notts County: Luca Toni, Hughes scored

    Juventus marked the inaugural match at their new stadium with less happy results. Facing the League One club, Notts County, Juventus could only draw 1-1.

    In a match at Juventus Stadium on Thursday (08/09/2011), Juve played almost all new players such as Andrea Pirlo, Michele Pazienza, Eljero Elia, and Marcelo Estigarribia. They also included a number of players primavera.

    After the first half ended scoreless, Juventus could break the deadlock early in the second half through Luca Toni. However, Lee Hughes scored in the final minutes of interrupted victory 'Old Lady'

    After this exhibition match, Juventus will face the first competitive match at their new stadium. They will entertain Parma in the Champions Serie A on Sunday (09/11/2011).
