  • Tottenham 3-1 QPR: Bale great-double, Van Der Vaart great-finish

    Tottenham Hotspur turned on the style as they beat Queens Park Rangers 2-0 at White Hart Lane to move up to fifth in the Premier League, on Sunday 30/10/2011.

    Bale open the scoring through great strike at 20 minute, then Van Der Vaart continuing his great performance, scoring utilizing King accidental shot. Bothroyd give a hope with his goal at 63, but Bale again scored with tremendous shot to lock final score 3-1 for home side.




    The game


    In the match that took place at White Hart Lane Stadium on Sunday (10/20/2011) , the Spurs are relying explosiveness superior attack when the game entered the 20th minute. Their first goal was created by Gareth Bale.

    Rafael Van der Vaart's accuracy in finding Aaron Lennon started running in the middle area of this goal. Lennon then pass the ball to the left side, where Bale stood guarded. Through a hard kick, Bale strike was perfectly hit to the back of Patrick Kenny nets.

    Van der Vaart then doubled the advantage 11 minutes later. Ledley King kick which hit the QPR player's body fell in front of Van der Vaart who escape from custody. With a left foot kick, he also brought the Spurs 2-0.

    The score lasted until halftime despite several opportunities could be created.

    In the second half, QPR minimize the position to 1-2 through Jay Bothroyd in 62 minutes. Goal was preceded executed corner kick Joey Barton and headed by Heidar Helguson. The ball then met again with a header at the far post by Bothroyd.
