  • Norwich City 1-2 Arsenal: Van Persie double, Morison scored

    Arsenal reap the full points in a visit to the headquarters of Norwich. Left earlier, the Gunners turned a pair of goals to win 2-1 through Robin van Persie.

    At Carrow Road on Saturday (19/11/2011) Steve Morison put the public host cheered at minute 16. Norwich lead over Arsenal.

    Van Persie then made the score back to draw at minute 27. 1-1 score lasted until the end of the first half of the fight.

    The Dutch striker was then sealed 'The Gunner' victory on through his goal at minute 59. Arsenal went home with three points.

    The result left Arsenal has won 22 points, the equivalent of Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur. But Arsenal had played 12 games while Chelsea and Spurs played 11 and 10 matches.




    The game


    Initial attack of Arsenal in the first minute. Walcott came off a cross from the right towards Van Persie, who his flick still send the ball wide of the target.

    Another attack was launched Arsenal not long ago. This time Walcott blocked kick Marc Tierney.

    Arsenal still held the initiative to attack. Van Persie received the ball well though and the ball shot still miss the Norwich goal.

    Golden opportunity of Walcott in the 11th minute. From the right, he managed to outwit the opposing player and sent the ball into the far post. The ball rolled uncontrollably goalkeeper, but at the last moment the ball can be driven back Russell Martin.

    Arsenal just collapse on 17 minutes. Failure to block the ball bait Mertesacker far utilized Morison who stole the ball from him. Morrison then conquer Szczesny.

    Arsenal continued to press. Two times, in minutes 22 and 24, Martin showed his skill in warding off attacks.

    Goals finally came to Arsenal in the 27th minute. From the right, Walcott sent a cross into the face of goal Norwich. Gervinho missed kick, but Van Persie who have successfully cheated the ball behind him.

    Released Gervinho header on 49 minutes. The ball straight at goalkeeper Ruddy. Norwich Pilkington returned through a free kick on 51 minutes, the right direction to Szczesny.

    Three minutes later, Walcott re-telling to send feedback to the front of the wicket Norwich. Ramsey had the ball even though his shot only hit the outside of the goal.

    Norwich nearly evened the score. Removed a cross from the right side and flick off the face of goal, Pilkington failed to the point.

    Five minutes to disperse, Norwich claimed a penalty after Holt dropped. However, the referee did not agree and instead gave a yellow card for Holt assessed fell on purpose.

    At minute 87, Walcott almost made a goal. But the hard kick just hit the top corner Norwich nets.

    Norwich to get a free kick in the last minute of the game. Johnson sent a ball into the face of goal and Szczesny without difficulty pluck from the air.
