  • Wolves 1-2 Chelsea: Ramires, Ward, Lampard score

    After beaten by Aston Villa at the weekend, Chelsea managed to rise in the face of the host, Wolverhampton. The Blues make sure of three points after winning the match by a decisive score of 2-1.

    Match between Wolves against Chelsea was held at the Molineux Stadium on Monday (1/1/2012). The entire occur at second-half goals,the first half both teams played equally strong 0-0.

    Chelsea's first lead on 54 minutes with Ramires. However, the Wolves are able to equalize on 84 minutes through Stephen Ward.

    Fortunate to have Frank Lampard, veteran midfielder Chelsea became a hero after his goal on 89 minutes to ensure victory.

    This victory at once put an end to a series of unsatisfactory results of Chelsea in the previous four games. These results lead Chelsea back up to fourth standings with 37 points.

    Even so, his position potentially displaced back by Arsenal, who will compete for a while longer. Meanwhile, Wolves remained in position 16 with a value of 17.


    The game

    Ramires stabbed into the box before the kick, though still can be denied by Hennessey. Wolves responded with a dangerous movement that releases Jarvis's cross but unfortunately no one who greeted him.
