  • Everton 2-0 Chelsea: Pienaar, Stracqualursi great-finish

    Chelsea more scattered away from competition to the title this season, having defeated the Blues 0-2 in the trip to Everton cage.

    In the action at Goodison Park on Saturday (11/02/2012), Steven Pienaar scored first in the 5th minute. Produced one other goal in the 70th minute Dennis Stracqualursi.

    Chelsea's defeat to-6 this season makes them stuck at number four with 43 points. The number of points they are the same as Arsenal win 2-1 over Sunderland, but the superior goal difference.

    Meanwhile, the Toffees at number 10 with 33 points from 25 matches.


    The game

    Only five minutes walk game, Pienaar took advantage of the Chelsea defense. South African players easily broke through the penalty box and fired a hard kick to the corner of the goal Petr Cech.

    At the 18th minute Chelsea nearly conceded again when Cech made a blunder. Cech imperfections in the ball to sweep the ball fell at the feet of Landon Donovan, but unfortunately his shot wide on the right side of Cech's goal.

    At the 26th minute Juan Mata movement on the right side of Chelsea attack ends with a horizontal crossing. Ball towards the penalty box and Daniel Sturridge grabbed it but the ball was floated over the bar.

    Three minutes later Chelsea threatened again. Eyes on the right side sends the ball to Frank Lampard and Lampard still sideways kick.

    Until halftime score remained 1-0 to Everton.

    Everton doubled the lead in the 70th minute after Stracqualursi Donovan's cross with a kerasa kick towards goal. Cech was trying to ward off the ball but failed and lodged in his net.

    At minute 82 of a crossing into the penalty box and grabbed Romelu Lukaku. But Howard deftly catch the ball.

    Game ended with a score of 2-0 to win the host,
