  • Tottenham 5-0 Newcstle: Saha double, Kranjcar ,Adebayor score

    Tottenham Hotspur appear bright when facing Newcastle United in the Premier League continued. The Lilywhites won five goals without reply.

    In the action at White Hart Lane on Saturday (11/02/2012), the Spurs had a 4-0 lead in the first round by two goals from Louis Saha, Benoit Assou Ekotto and Niko Kranjcar. One other goal Emmanuel Adebayor generated in the second round.

    With these three points, the Spurs cemented its position in third place standings with 53 points from 25 matches. Five points with Manchester United at the top. While Newcastle stuck in sixth with 42 points.


    The game

    In the second half Spurs began to relax the pressure and just added another goal on 65 minutes through Adebayor. Ekotto started crossing to the far post who headed Saha into the face of goal and went on to kick Adebayor first time.

    The game was ending with a score of 5-0.
